| What a good week! Things have been going really well as of late. I really enjoy the new job at ABC. Meeting people and staying busy is always good.
Well, here are some things that have been on my mind. Being 24 is tough. It really is a weird age. You see, at 24 everybody expects you to be "normal". Normal for a 24 usually means being married and having a "career", and being really mature now. So if you are me and you just want to meet lots of new people and have a lot of fun and do a lot of new things in new places it kind of makes you the odd man out! But, this is okay because much better to be different than to be a conformist. I think so anyway. Besides, I can't think of anybody that is really worth remembering that did things just like eveybody else. Could be wrong on that one, but just can't think of anyone right now. So yeah, I think I will just keep following God's plan because I think that will bring me far more joy than being what everyone else wants me to be.
So, anybody wanna buy a longboard?????? I'll make you a good deal!!!

| Yeah, so I am reading the Chronicles of Narnia and it is pretty amazing! I mean, C.S. Lewis is really a genius. J.R. Tolkien was incred too but Lewis also wrote Mere Christianity, Screwtape letters and all those amazing books! So far I like the magicians Nephew more than the Lion, witch and wardrobe. They really do have so many parallels with El Bible'!!! So change of subject, and here goes. When do we stop living? I mean there is that moment for most people and it sneaks up on them befoe they know what happens. The day that we wake up and realize that we have become our parents or worse. They day we realize that we are living only to survive. That day would be a very sad day if we let it happen before we are like 90. But most people do that. I mean do you realize how much time we spend doing crap that is suppose to prepare us for tomorrow when today is all we really have. Very SAD friends very SAD!!! I'm not saying go crazy and move to Bangladesh or anything but realize that desire really does reveal our design and in turn that reveals our destiny. I know we spend so much time doing things that don't bring us life and we are scared to do anything differently than what we are already doing because what will everyone say when we are living differently? But if we are different then we should live that way. Even if it cost us everything. I mean early Christians lived that way. They were very different and had different beliefs on life and it cost many of them their very lives but it was worth living free and knowing that they are truly alive and following Christ. I know that I spend so much time just surviving instead of living and that is what has been on my mind lately. | | |
| Yeah, so Thanksgiving was amazing! I forget how much I miss the country and the slow pace of life that comes with it. I hung out with the family all week and did a lot of hunting. I saw deer and bobcats and all kinds of cool things. Saturday i attempted to go to the OU-OSU game with the family and Jaclyn but tickets were ridiculously expensive. Yes, it was a time of fun for all to have. I miss people already! | | |
